One of the most memorable of all events in our life, Marriage happens to be one where two people with different backgrounds and different cultures take the oath to be together always in each others highs and lows. It is bonding of two souls and is considered to be a heavenly event. But there can be times when this bonding looks not so heavenly and conflict arises between the soul mates. The problems can be for anything like misunderstandings, personal or some ego problems where each one finds the other growing irritating with days. The problems might finally get to the extent of separation of the couples.

However divorce is not the solution to all the disputes that have risen between you and your spouse. Here few ways have been discussed on how to settle disputes with your spouse and save your marriage.

The first step is to face the challenge that comes your way instead of neglecting them. The more you take the escape route the more complicated the dispute gets making it difficult to save the marriage. Learn to accept the indifferences that exist between you and your spouse and try to solve them together. You should be honest enough to accept the problems existing in your married life.

Figure out the problems that have arisen in your married life because an enemy who cannot be found cannot be fought against. Try to find out the changes that you find in your partner’s recent behaviors and reason out for them. And if you cannot reason out for the changing approach of your partner, it is best to open a conversation with him or her. You should let your spouse too to speak out his or her mind. And be conscious of the slightest of the hints coming out of the conversation to solve your problems.

Remember those romantic moments you have spent with your partner, you can surprise him or her with gifts that he or she loves the most or go for a romantic date. This would ignite the blurring love and passion in your life.

There should not be any communication gap between you and your partner no matter how stressful your life gets. You should have enough time for your spouse and should be able to share his or her feelings.

In case you are still unable to solve the problem you can take some advice from the councilors or from a close friend whom you can trust. Remember a bad advice may ruin your life and your partner’s as well.
