7 Seconds Back Pain Relief
There is so much information on the Web about back pain and cures. You can buy natural remedies, organic treatments, pain killing medicines, herbs, and vitamins. Self-help books galore are out there to guide you to excellent health and a pain-free existence. There are diet and exercise plans, techniques to relieve pain, and suggestions on lifestyle changes that are supposed to help your back pain.
The problem with all this is that those with back pain may be susceptible to lies and miracle cures being sold by crooks. There are those who just want to relieve them of their money, not their pain. If you have back pain, be sure not to get carried away and do a little research before parting with your hard earned money to purchase what could be a scam.
One plan called movement re-education is inspired by The Alexander Technique. The idea here is that you have developed bad habits over the years that are fueling your back pain. If you learn to change your movement patterns you will feel renewed. The plan is called 7 Seconds, but that is not to be taken literally. You will need to spend much more time learning and practicing all the techniques until you can do them properly – then you will get relief. However, the techniques will get easier and almost automatic as you go along – at that time you will really be living the 7 Seconds relief plan. It is basically a method of relaxing your muscles over the entire body.
You will learn how to stand correctly and sit properly at your computer desk. There are seven chapters to learn and you begin at the top. You learn to relax you neck and head, then your back, pelvic area and your legs. You will learn to use your keep you head in proper position so that you can see but without inclining you head at the wrong awkward angle. You will learn by watching videos that show you exactly what to do and you can imitate the technique easily. These 1 minute video clips are great to train you in the methods, as are the images and drawings that go with the written steps described.
The section on getting rid of bad behaviors will surprise you with how simple and natural it can be to eliminate your temptations. This section describes how bad habits get started and you begin to put your muscles into spasm. Another section outlines the best ways to use the exercise ball to improve range of motion and balance.
The ‘Getting Back To Fitness‘ section is terrific and is worth the price of admission in getting the ebook. It teaches you how to walk without stressing your knees and hips and ankles – and how to work up to running. There are mp3s that will help you learn these methods of movement. Being active and keeping yourself moving is the best way to free your body of aches and back pains. It would be nice if the program included a bit more information about how to properly use gym devices and machines.
At the beginning I thought this method would never work, but in the end I was converted. I wish I had learned all this much earlier – and if so maybe I would never had had back pain to begin with. It could all have been prevented. I worked with a volunteer who went through the program with me and he found it extremely helpful, once the techniques are thoroughly learned. You can work this treatment method into your routine and exercise plan, so you don’t need to have a special time for completing it each day. It is not expensive and both the volunteer and I feel much better. We have even gotten into the habit of running. Purchasing 7 Seconds was worth every penny.
