Though marriages are supposed to be made in heavens but there can be few testing times as well. And in cases where the relation gets bitter and difficult to be carried out separation remains the sole solution. However with all the cultural and regional traditions prevailing in our society it is not so easy to get yourself rid of a relation. But there are many couples who had been practicing to leave alone separated from their spouse though they are married legally. But the thing to be considered is that can such a practice save a marriage?

You can opt to separate from your spouse in either ways whether a formal separation or an informal separation. While an informal separation is quick and based upon a mutual agreement between you and your partner, but a formal one is too hectic and painful. In the informal separation you can yourselves decide who will keep the car or the credit card and who will own the bank account. But in case of a formal separation it is not that a simple task to complete.

Anyways separating should not be the final solution to save your relationship. Prior to separating you can think of attending few counseling sessions which might help you resolve the indifference. You can ask for a help from your trusted relatives, best friends or family. There had been many instances of saved marriage after the couple attended a seminar on saving relationship or after few sessions of counseling from an expert.

If nothing holds good to save your marriage you can opt for a trial separation from your partner. This may help you understand the problems regarding your relationship better and in a practical way. Before finally deciding for divorce both of you can experience whether you would be able to live separately from each other or not. This would give you enough time to think over the problems you were facing in your relationship and ways to resolve them. But if this too does not bring your relation in the right track and you feel living separately will help you live a better life then you can legally apply for it.

The planned separation very often helps the couple to solve their disputes and look to lead a good and improved relation. It lets you know the importance your spouse holds in your life.

A separation can never be a solution to save your marriage.
