•	Tranquilizers;<br />
•	Risky sex practises;<br />
•	Overspending;<br />
•	Violent behavior</p>
<p>Alcoholic people go through depression that is caused by stress. Alcohol is consumed by such people so as to “feel better” and <strong>get relief from stress</strong> and the related anxiety and depression which is caused by it. As a matter of fact they are self medicating. Rather than finding the root of their stress they take alcohol to cover their stress.</p>
<p>Alcohol can never help you alleviate anxiety; it only works as anaesthesia to the effects of stress. Sorry to say, consumption of alcohol only stresses you out and also enlarges your depression. An individual gets addicted to alcohol both psychologically and bodily. Alcohol shortens your life span and leads to liver diseases and heart diseases. And end up loosing your good friends because you always hang around with people who are alcoholics. In the long run, this is going to ruin your professional and personal life.</p>
<p>You are running on a wrong track if you think that alcohol will help you reduce stress in your life. Alcohol in no way should be counted as “cure”. If you do not stop this is what you will face in near future:</p>
<p>•	DUI arrests;<br />
•	Being fired from your job;<br />
•	Your spouse leaving you;<br />
•	Your kids not having any respect for you;<br />
•	Financial issues;<br />
•	Health issues.</p>
<p>Taking alcohol is only a mask and in no way is a cure, if talk about getting rid of stress from your life. This also implies for illegal drugs and tranquilizers. A number of people go to a doctor for stress related problems and he will without any delay prescribe you a tranquilizer. A tranquilizer is even more addictive than alcohol and it is practically booze in a pill. Just like alcohol, tranquilizers have a propensity to build up a tolerance if taken a bigger measured quantity and the effect is the same as alcohol.</p>

<p>A large number of people suffering from anxiety disorder or depression are captivated by these illegal drugs. Only difference between illegal drugs and alcohol is that alcohol is legal whereas illegal drugs are not.</p>
<p>A person performing unsafe sex practices, spending too much without any reason or if he has a violent behavior is surely mentally upset and these problems are caused by stress. In few cases, it has been observed that his or her condition could be a result of bi-polar disorder which was also called “manic depressive personality”. Such people are using money, sex, and violent behavior as a tool to take charge of their current situation because they are stressed out.</p>
<p>If you feel the symptoms of stress, never think that a tranquilizer is the ultimate cure. Your physician might prescribe you a tranquilizer right away but there are very few doctors who might advise you to “have a drink”. Tranquilizers are addictive and dangerous and can easily be misused.</p>
<p>Never become a self styled physician and prescribe yourself drugs and alcohol. They act as a mask on your condition but they can never cure. Such attempt might put you though worse conditions than your disease. The end result could be disastrous like in the case of Sam.</p>
<p>Sam for some reason lost his job which stressed him out and he decided to consult a doctor. Doctor diagnosed his condition as a “panic attack”. The doctor without any delay prescribed him an anti-depressant along with a tranquilizer to “take the edge off” of what he interpreted as a panic attack. The tranquilizer worked to take his edge off the panic attack with which Sam was really satisfied. Sam felt fine and he not even experienced a minor headache.</p>
<p>After he exhausted his tranquilizers he went back to the doctor to get prescribed some more tranquilizers. These pills and tranquilizers are not meant for a long term so the doctor refused to prescribe it the second time. Sam started begging and the doctor fell for his cries and gave him one more prescription. The doctor told Sam that it is the last time he is giving him the drugs and also advised him to stop taking pills.</p>
<p>Sam got addicted to these pills and he started taking more and more pills to get any effect at all. He was supposed to take one pill at a time but he started taking five. When he realized that he was running out of pills he consulted another doctor and got himself prescribed the pills again. He went to a different drugstore for a refill which made him feel better.</p>
<p>The next step he took was even better, “the world of online drugstores”. All the controlled drugs are available on the internet. Just by paying a little more bucks he had access to all types of drugs he wanted. He started ordering his favorite drugs and then he chooses to get other tranquilizers available online. He was like a kid in a candy store. It didn’t take much time for him to spend all his savings on his so called prescribed medication. He was having a time of his life so it never bothered him.</p>
<p>He clearly knew that consuming alcohol with tranquilizers is not good but he never cared about it. He was now taking seven pills along with alcohol. A time came when he couldn’t sleep without taking some sort of medicine. His life was all about taking more and more tranquilizers.</p>
<p>At one stage he decided to give up pills and tranquilizers but he could not because his body wouldn’t work. It was really agonizing for him to do so. At that point he decided to go back on the track and started taking pills again. It was very unfortunate that he did not think of consulting a doctor about his situation. Just like others he though that stress is not a major thing and he can deal with it himself. Moreover, aren’t the drugs legal, right?</p>
<p>One fateful night he took seven tranquilizers along with a drink before he went to bed. He felt dizzy and not realizing that he had already taken seven tranquilizers he took two more. He was found dead by his landlady the next day. He was just 26 years old.</p>
<p>Tranquilizer is not an answer to cure stress and same goes for alcohol, marijuana, heroine, morphine or any other drug. Risky sex practises and overspending also cannot provide you an answer. To eliminate stress we have to discover the actual source that is causing stress and overcome it with a healthy positive attitude.</p>

<p>It is quite normal to see a doctor and that dose not make you “crazy”. To tell the truth, a large number of people are taking medication for stress and anxiety disorders.</p>
<p>Your physician might pop a question to you that have you ever though of committing suicide or injure others. If at any stage the idea committing suicide has come to your mind, please go see a doctor. Committing suicide is no solution to any problem you are facing but you will end up hurting everybody who loves you. Don&#8217;t you think it is right to hurt your loved ones?</p>
<p>You would be provided a medication by your doctor to set your spirits high. A woman close to menopause is more likely to have symptoms of stress, so hormone replacement therapy may or may not be suggested. If given an option to choose between an anti-depressant or hormone replacement therapy, lots of women would go for the anti-depressant because it is considered less harmful. Anti-depressants enhance the production of serotonin in our body that stabilizes our frame of mind.</p>

<p>There are alternative ways to alleviate stress that you must try. You could be successful and be able to control your reaction to stress and get away with your medication. But, never ever try to be a self styled physician and do not talk bad about prescription drugs,</p>

<p>3. <strong>Get a dog</strong>. Having a dog initially could be stressful but a dog can help you to slow down your life. This is because dogs also have a routine like most of the people so you might end up settling into a routine.</p>
<p>4. <strong>Find a creative pursuit</strong>. Oppressive creativity might stress out a lot of people and you are also prone to be stressed out. Try out a hobby that is productive such as painting or writing which will not only help you reduce stress bit it could end it up as well.</p>
<p>5. Rather than taking sleeping pills try <strong>reading a book</strong> because it is a natural way that help you calm down.</p>
<p>6. <strong>Join a fitness centre</strong> and make certain that you go there everyday. You have to shell out money to go join a gym and that might push you to attend training everyday. You will have a healthy body and you can make new friends out there.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Stress</strong> leaves an appalling effect on us physically and psychologically. Quite a lot of people comes face to face with stressful situations and are diagnosed with anxiety disorders. There are arrays of symptoms that are taken in by anxiety disorders. One thing that is common in every type of anxiety disorder is that the person suffering from the disorder is always keen to be in command of of his or her surroundings. </p>
<p>It is believed that obsessive compulsive disorder is inherited despite the fact that it is a common reaction to stress. There is a discovery stating that a particular gene is responsible for this disorder. Therefore an individual whose family has a history of psychosomatic problems is more prone to suffer from such disorders. So while responding to stress do we consider it a genetic condition or a learned condition?</p>
<p>It is very hard to have power over obsessive thoughts for a person who is suffering from <strong>obsessive compulsive disorder</strong>. Such people at all times believe that they are out of control and to overcome this feeling they go through a sequence of rituals. After going through all these compulsions, they get a feeling that they are in control of their surroundings. It could be repeatedly washing their hands, locking and re locking doors, or even praying all the time. These strong desires make them feel that they have power over their environment.</p>
<p><strong>Anorexia Nervosa</strong> is alike Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. In this case, a woman suffering from this disorder would convince herself to be over weight and have nothing to eat to such an extent that she could die. The reason behind this drastic step is that she has a strong desire to control something within her surroundings which she believes is out of control. Quite a number of young women show signs of Anorexia when they join college because their routine is disrupted which stresses them out.</p>
<p>The term General Anxiety Disorder is referred to a situation where a person goes through severe anxiety. But it does not come beneath the category of Social Anxiety Disorder where a person is scared of social situations, Anorexia, or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. A person suffering from General Anxiety Disorder is not aware of his or her condition until they end up in an emergency room of a hospital thinking that he or she is having a heart attack. The symptoms of a heart attack are similar to an anxiety attack or a panic attack and the <strong>root of this problem is stress</strong>.</p>
<p>Stress generally manifests itself into anxiety and/or depression. Anxiety manifests itself into a lot of ways, such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Anorexia. If a person is under depression, he or she never enjoys anything that is happening in his or her life, which if not taken care of might be very critical.          </p>
<p>In the last twenty years we are witnessing a large number of suicide cases. Most of these cases, it is the teenagers or younger children who are committing suicides. In the past before 1980 there were hardly any cases of suicides but presently there has been quite a few stories of school kids killing themselves and others. This is heart-rending because they had their whole life in front of them. They did it under some kind of stress. Most of the times these kids inflict stress themselves just because they either did not get admitted to their favorite college or they didn’t get good grades at school. It is very tragic that teenagers end their lives because they believed they are not fit for this world.</p>
<p>Stress not only causes mental problems but can also result in physical problems. Stress has also been related to heart disease and is it is one of the major causes of high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke. An individual under stress is more likely to get sick with cold or flu. Our immune system is also affected by stress and in some cases it has been linked to certain types of cancer as well.</p>
<p>It is very difficult for an individual to <strong>overcome stress</strong> in their lives but there are ways to tackle it. We have to learn these techniques to save ourselves from physical and psychological damages. We will come face to face with stress throughout our lives so it will be healthier for us to react in a positive manner. We have to be in command of our behavior and eliminate stress out of our lives.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Stress</strong> is an invasion on our serene life. Every one of us struggles to live a decent peaceful life. We succeed to a certain point when we get into certain routines. We humans are all animals. If you are a dog owner you must have seen them doing well when they are on a particular routine. Every day you take your dog on a walk on a particular time, you feed them on a certain time and they also sleep at a certain time. So your animal adapts that daily routine set by you.</p>
<p>If by any chance that routine is broken your dog is more likely to behave in a destructive or disturbed manner. The reason for these incidents is that your dog is stresses out.</p>
<p>We humans act in a similar manner. Parents must have observed that their siblings behave much better if they have on a set routine. If you are running your household in an uncontrolled way your kids might also act in the similar manner. Having a routine gives children a sense of security and this is what any kid would want.</p>
<p>A lot of people complain that their kid&#8217;s do not go to bed on time but it is the parents duty to set a everyday routine for their kids to go to bed. Parents end up yelling at their children or even threaten them to go to bed on time. This can be avoided by simply setting up a bedtime routine. A bedtime story or milk and chocolates might help and the children will always look forward to bedtime. Kids can feel a sense of security and that is what they want in their lives.</p>
<p>Everyone today wants a secure and safe life but the things are not the same when we get old. Certain incidents takes place in everybody&#8217;s life and that leads to stress. We overcome some incidents but the others we can&#8217;t. A lot of people are lucky to escape stress until adulthood and others face it at a young age. There are foreign factors that make us feel stressed out but sometimes we invite stress on our own.</p>
<p><strong>Following are some factors that cause stress:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Death of a loved one</strong></p>
<p>It is very difficult to face a death of our loved ones which can be a spouse, parent, child or a friend. This causes major stress and we can do nothing about it but face it. There are people who recover from this stress and move on but there are others who can never pull through. The loss of a loved one leads to grave illnesses including depression. The death of a child is something that is hard to bear and is unforgettable for the parents. Eventually they have to move for the sake of their family. This is one of the worst stresses one can endure and people never recover from it.</p>
<p><strong>Divorce</strong></p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t matter if we are happy to leave our partner; it still is one of the major stressor on our lives. Not only the couple is stressed out by a divorce, their children are also affected by it. Parents are so tense during this situation that they forget that their kids are also suffering. Children are blown away by their parent&#8217;s decision irrespective of their age. Younger kids are more stressed out that the older kids because they cannot put their emotions into words. They cannot understand what is the reason behind their parents separation. They might hold themselves responsible for this separation.</p>
<p>Kids are shaken over their parents divorce and they will definitely feel stress. There is a possibility that such stressed out children might face psychological disorders or even anxiety. Such conditions break the routine and the children doesn&#8217;t feel safe, so they start looking for ways to lessen the stress and take control over their lives by developing a disorder such as anorexia. It is advisable to see a counsellor if the parents are going through a divorce.</p>
<p><strong>Moving</strong></p>
<p>Moving from a shack to a palace is stressful because it breaks your routine. Though it is a happy occasion but disruption of your routine will eventually cause stress. It is very uneasy to pack your stuff and move to a new place for the entire family. Packing and unpacking can really get on your nerves. A lot of us cannot afford to hire someone to do the packing for us so it tends to be stressful. It does take time to settle at your new home but you should always try to retain your usual routine, especially if you have kids.</p>
<p><strong>Major Illness</strong></p>
<p>It is quite a lot of stress for your family if you going through any major illness. You may not feel stressed out with your illness, it is your family that is feeling the heat. A major illness can go on for years and that is the worst stressor for you and the people emotionally attached to you. </p>
<p>You go under depression if you have a major illness because you life is affected with it. There are some people who start taking drugs, alcohol to lessen stress which apparently dose not help at all rather it turns your family against you. You are stressed out even more. To cope with illness of their parents some youngsters turn to drugs, alcohol or even immoral sex.</p>
<p><strong>Job Loss</strong></p>
<p>Loosing a job is not only embarrassing, but it also put you into a financial crisis resulting in depression and anxiety. This attacks your personality and also leaves you without any money. This might put you under stress until you find a new job or you learn to survive with a smaller amount of money.</p>
<p>Your lifestyle is dislocated along with your monetary position until you dig up your bearings. Uncertainty of finding a job is one big factor that makes you stressed out. Even finding a new job is very traumatic.</p>
<p>Sometimes we desire for a better job with a higher pay check or for any other reason. Even that is measured as a stress factor. For a lot of people working in a new place is very stressful, the reason being breaking our routine. Therefore, you break your routine you are inviting stress.</p>
<p>In our society there are some major stress factors we come across. Some happy moments of your life such as a child birth, marriage, or a new job leads to stress because they disrupt your way of life.</p>
<p>All types of stress factors mentioned above have one thing in common; they disrupt our lives and our routine. Any sort of changes that happen in our lives, it doesn&#8217;t matter it is good or bad, it causes stress.</p>
<p>We must remember that we will face changes in our lives, so we are going to experience stressful situations. It all depends on us, how we are going to overcome these stressful situations and how well we can handle stress.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Presently, almost everybody you talk to is crabbing about being &#8220;<strong>stressed out</strong>&#8220;. Three decades from now nobody talked about this problem. At present, the term &#8220;stressed out&#8221; is being used in most conversations. Whenever we talk about our career or our personal life, we constantly refer to ourselves as being &#8220;stressed out&#8221;. </p>
<p>It has been found through a research that children who hardly know anything about stress are &#8220;stressed out&#8221; because of some actions at home or school. In most cases, these little kids are inheriting the stress from their parents.</p>
<p>Psychologists who are working on &#8220;stressed out&#8221; people hold responsible food we eat, society or present conditions. There are a lot of people who believe that people today tend to do a lot of things at the same time thus inviting stress.</p>
<p><strong>Everyone gets &#8220;stressed out&#8221; at times</strong> but there is a difference in being frequently stressed out and stressed under some circumstances. Certain problems in ones life leads to stress but some people overcome these burdens as the time passes.</p>
<p>Other people are more likely to be &#8220;stressed out&#8221; all the time. As a matter of fact, their whole life is one big stress factory which is not right because it is affecting our society. There are a lot of medicines available to remove stress and millions of people are spending billions of dollars for these drugs.</p>
<p>What is the reason that in the past thirty years we are turning into a nation of &#8220;stressed out&#8221; individuals? <p>All these psychological disorders come from stress and it also attacks us physically. Stress is the root of all diseases known to a human being. Even cancer and hear diseases are linked to stress. It is not in the best interest of a human to be under stress but as human beings we are bound to live with stressful situations. So if we want to get rid of being &#8220;stressed out&#8221; here are some tips you need to acknowledge:</p>
<p>•	Identify stressors that affect our daily lives<br />
•	Eliminate the stressors of which we can free ourselves<br />
•	Learn to deal with stressful situations in a healthy way</p>
<p>If you are &#8220;stressed out&#8221;, search for the reasons that stressed you out and work it out in the best possible way to eliminate it. But if you are not successful in getting rid of stress out of your life, you might have to take some kind of prescribed drug for any of the disorder mentioned above. Taking a prescribed medicine does not mean that you are abnormal. In this book you will find the best alternatives to cure stress. On the other hand, it is advisable for you to take medication and don’t let body to be taken over with stress. </p>
