1. Breathing exercises: You have to breathe in all the way through your mouth and out through your nose. Take a deep breath and make sure to hold the air in your lungs for 10 seconds and then let it out through your nose.

2 Make a routine of watching a comedy or any other entertaining television show in the evening every day. In this way you have something to look out for everyday therefore putting stability in your life.

3. Get a dog. Having a dog initially could be stressful but a dog can help you to slow down your life. This is because dogs also have a routine like most of the people so you might end up settling into a routine.

4. Find a creative pursuit. Oppressive creativity might stress out a lot of people and you are also prone to be stressed out. Try out a hobby that is productive such as painting or writing which will not only help you reduce stress bit it could end it up as well.

5. Rather than taking sleeping pills try reading a book because it is a natural way that help you calm down.

6. Join a fitness centre and make certain that you go there everyday. You have to shell out money to go join a gym and that might push you to attend training everyday. You will have a healthy body and you can make new friends out there.

7. Go ahead and volunteer to help someone out. When you come across people who are way worse off than you, it will change the way you think about your personal problems and it is definitely an instant stress relief. Helping someone gives you a proud feeling.

8. Join a group where you are able to see people who have same interests as you. You will have new friends along with a changed wisdom of self-assurance and it will get your minds off your own problems.

10. Cry and laugh. It has been scientifically proved that laughing and crying is an instant stress reliever. You just have to let your emotions out and you will feel a better person.
